Health Care Reform

This seems to the topic du jour.  It's something that America badly needs and everyone sees it.  Its the duh statement of the decade, but yet we can't seem to get where we need to be.  I was on the Bill Maher facebook page and reading one of the discussion posts by, what seems to be an intelligent person.  Here is the link in case you want to read it:

This would seem like a viable plan that could apply to every state in the US.

Now why is it that Congress can't come up with something like this and agree to pass it?  Really a rhetorical question that I would expect no response to.  As to not digress and I seem to have run out of steam on this topic...just something to think about....

Till next time happy readers....

BAD DRIVER

I just don't get it. How is it that people can drive so bad? It's really not that tough and I thought easy to follow signs. I understand in certain cities where they can make roads confusing and traffic is high.

What inspired this post was a horrible driver who had no idea where the hell to make a u-turn. I live in the beautiful state of NH and for the most part it can be pretty easy to find a road/driveway, something to pull into and turn around. The other day I was driving down route 202. To those not familiar with 202, it is basically a highway that travels across NH going southwest'ish to help those living in the small towns avoid long drives. Very spacious highway and traffic is pretty consistent. For the most part you have to go the speed limit cause there are a lot of police officers patrolling that highway, whether it be local or state.

Sooooo......we come to the idiot driving who should have their license taken away. Driving down the road, a few cars ahead of me, there is this moron in an SUV who decides to make a left hand turn on the highway. So now you have an SUV sitting in the middle of a highway blocking both lanes and taking their sweet time make a 3 point u-turn. Eventually they did turn around and move on, almost causing several accidents, but all I could say was WTF!!!!! What the hell inspired this idiot to turn in the middle of the highway and not just turn off to the road they were next to??? It really makes you wonder what the hell some people think, rather don't think....

This isn't the first, and unfortunately not the last, idiot I have seen driving. I'm sure I will see many more to come. However, this one was stupid enough to inspire me to write this post.

Thanks for reading and tell me about your bad driver experience....I'm sure we'll all get some laughs, at least now we will...Have a good day :)

The Beginning....

And in the beginning it started with this horrible post.

Why so horrible? Where do I start? What do I write about?

I guess we all start in the same spot....I guess we are all great writers waiting to type away at the keyboard or just write in pen.
The first time is usually the worst...its when you are at your most vulnerable moment. You have no idea what to think...what the hell you are doing...all you know is your doing. Do you stumble through it...much like this first post...or are you a born....whatever?

What is this blog going to be about? What are you going to blog about? Should I read other blogs and get ideas of what is "popular", or do I just type whats in my head?

In my case....I think I'll type whats in my head.

Maybe I'll try to type about a bit more. This first post is supposed to leave you desiring more...not starving. Several more questions come to mind, and all will have answers in time.

For me this post is like popping my proverbial cherry. I am a complete and utter virgin to blogging. The first time is always the worst and its just a matter of doing it more to get better. To figure what it is that I want to blog about is going to be the key to my blogging enjoyment. I guess we can consider the blog a modern day journal.

I left enough of my unfinished thoughts out for now....enough unanswered questions.

Thank you for reading and take care.
